I’ve had to deconstruct more than a few Johannus organs for the dumpster after the previous owner bought an Allen as a replacement, and these organs are cheap junk! I’ve never seen such shoddy construction, and even found a Walmart-style power strip inside one console for power cable distribution. The only good thing about them is that their cheap construction makes for easier disassembly to throw into the trash! A sledgehammer and a screwdriver are the only tools needed to “fix” these organs.
I suggest you inspect a T255 Johannus Organ. I just bought this new model and closely looked inside to make sure that it was well made. The “Ecclesia” T255 Johannes is a Gem for a church. 8 channels for their 2 manual model with massive subwoofer. Not cheap at about $50,000 US . The “samples” French & ‘German” organs are instruments I have actually played in Europs , and, they are “spot on”. Perhaps Johannus has lifted their “game” .
Australia.
Thank you for the information. Is your information on the cost correct? That model seems to sell for about half the price in Europe as per the following link: https://www.andanteorganos.com/ecclesia-t-255.html
